Wow! That's something I don't hear everyday. I didn't even know an aquarium can light on fire! Thank goodness the fish are alright though.

Thing I see in fishlore... ROFL, but seriously, this is a reminder of using the same approach as "it's not possible to over-filter" into "it's not possible to over-prevent disasters", and I would add, especially in either cheap and faulty equipment, or DIY projects. This reminds me that I haven't add weight to form U shapes in all my electric cords, lazy me! Guess where I'm going... after visiting a patient at the hospital, I'll get some lead weight for the cords!

a man in my area had a pond with 9 koi and he was missing 8 of them. they suspect it was an animal, either that or the person only had room for 8 or they didnt want to be that mean
