What is the difference between All Glass and Perfecto? I am looking at a 75 gal. Does either tank require a foam mat to rest on?

Just two different companies. All glass is now Aqueon. Doesn't need a foam mat, because the rim is made to hold weight, but i like the idea of something underneath, just to give me the good feeling.

What should I use underneath? I just finished building the stand. The top of the stand has 3/4 plywood, so right now the glass tank would be on a flat piece of wood

That would be suitable....thats what i use just wood. But i've seen some people use that blue styrofoam insulation from Lowes or Home depot.
