I like the ease of reading digital thermometers, but I don't trust those that stick on the outside of the tank. I'm not having a whole lot of luck finding one that will go inside the tank. Is there a reason for this?
I'm also considering a thermometer with a temperature alert. Is this a useful addition?
I did find this >
Thermometer/Ammonia/PH< but there is no indication of how long it would be effective for. Also, The thermometer should last forever, but the PH and Ammonia sensors won't, so it doesn't make much sense to combine them together.
I do have a Seachem Ammonia Alert in my 10gallon tank and it seems to do it's job well.
What is your opinion of these sensors?
