Dry aquarium weight... 137 gallon

I have the a great opportunity to obtain a 137 gallon tank. The dimensions are about 13"x90"x27" with 1/2" glass.

Filled with water I suspect that this will weigh about 1600lbs. What I'd like to know is how much would the dry aquarium weigh? I'm guessing around 125lbs, but I'm really not sure.

When moving this tank (empty) how many people should be involved?

Also, since I'm posting anyhow...

I'm planning on using a pair of 300watt heaters, this should be more than plenty, right?

Can anyone suggest a decent filter system for a tank of this size?

I'm not sure of the weight, but your guess sounds pretty good and I'd move it with 2 people involved.

I think 2 300w heaters will do the trick on it and you could place them each 1/3 of the tank length from the ends.

I'd go with 2-3 strong penquin bio-wheel filters or aqua clear filters. Enough that you'll have a combined output of at least 1400 gph.

our 220 weighed about 250-300lbs so it would have to be less than that. we had 2 ppl moving ours. i would say u wouldnt need more than that. also i am using 2 300 watt heaters so u are definately all set. it heats my tank pretty good. im sorry im not sure about the filter. i just got my first canister and still dont know exactly how to do it. GL bigger tanks are so much more fun!!
