white dots in water?

hello people..

I was wondering, does anyone what these little white dots in the water are?

Are those on the glass inside? They look like the little air bubbles that you sometimes get when you add a lot of water to a tank.

ah, so tiny air bubbles then...

good, I thought they were something bad..

and yes, it is on the inside- and even with the air pump turned off for a while, they still linger in the water... this isn't bad, right?..

Right. They'll go away soon on their own or you can wipe them away but they're harmless. When water's poured in, it can create some sort of super oxygen saturation and the result is those little bubbles. CWC or Dino could explain how that works better than me, but your tank & fish are ok.

ah, no- not that stuff..

the white dots that I have are in the water itself.. not on the glass... they are swimming along with the current of the tank...

My guess is planaria then. They'll usually look like little white balls when they move around in the water, but when they're on surfaces, you'll see the little white worms.
