I am having trouble keeping the fake 'grass' down where I want it. I am very short and trying to cover the underneath plastic with gravel is tough. I thought about using weights used for fishing ? Any better ideas? Thanks

that actually is an awesome idea!!! mine just took me a long time but i put the plastic under a bit of gravel.. never even though of the weights!!

Do you think the lead in the weights will cause any negative affects?

It's not supposed to, but then again, MN just went through a big deal where lead weights became illegal, and they traded them out for the new, non-lead ones. They cited concerns about water quality as the reason for doing so. So if you can get your hands on the non-lead weights, you should be good, but I wouldn't trust lead for anything.

What I did with mine is worked some gravel down in between the blades of grass. Eventually, the thing was heavy enough that it would stay put.
