What now?

So I need to get a 30g heater to replace the 40g heater in my 35g tank cuz the tank gets to hot. What should I do to keep the temp at a safe level while I wait to get a new one.

Hi!

Um, try turning the 40gal heater down? You probably don't need a new heater - just need to adjust the current one.

Hi!

Ah. That means you probably will need a new one. Just leave the fish as they are. They'll cope.

You might try floating sealed bags of ice cubes to keep the temp down some.
