It's a very vague thread title, but I have live sand for my aquarium and decided to pour some of the sand into a small fish bowl. It's not a fancy aquarium or anything, but just a cliche fish bowl that you would find on a little girl's dresser. Because there aren't any filter or anything, the water is now very foggy thanks to the sand. Is there any way to clear this out like just pouring water until it clears up or do I just need to wait for it to settle and clear?

Just wait for it to settle, although it helps if you wash the sand first.

What kind of live sand is this? Do they make this sand in all black?
