i like to ask the ?has anyone used a substrate heater ?for growing a/plants i know sera product make one,also can they be put into a aquar one brand tanks that are closed in top or other brands that are like that ? i know u dont have to have a s/heater but for lush growth it helps for the substrate to be heated (so i been told )is that right as i thought it would get heated up anyway? thanks

From what I've heard it doesn't help all that much, having the proper light, ferts, and even co2 if you want is better than a substrate heater. I haven't heard anything that bad about them though, so it's really up to your budget.

I've been told the same thing, but I haven't actually tested it.
