Hi all,

How do you remove fish poop from the sand? I really have trouble with this.

fish poop should just rest on the top of the sand. You could tae a small dowel (6") and attach it to the end of your siphon so the dowel sticks out farther than the siphon vacuum tube. You can stir up the bottom gently with the extended dowel, and suck out any debris that is there.

I just wave the siphon over the sand and it picks up the debris that rests on it without picking up the sand.

I agree with Carol. Just "glide" the end of the siphon over the sand and it picks up all the debris.

I totally agree with Carol, I've got a sand tank and thats what I do!
