hey... so after doing some reading i figured pool filter sand would be the best to switch from gravel.

I bought a 50lb bag for ten dollars at my local pool store. Shortly after i dumped it into an ice box/chest and rinsed it for three hours and let me tell you it's not ready to go straight from the bag.

Soo much debri n dust kept rising until it eventually cleared up. Once that was taken care of i moved my bigger fish into a temporary tank and smaller fish in another one. Than i removed all my plants and decorations, soon after i removed all the gravel and replaced it with the sand. I let it settle for a few minutes as pfs seems to be heavier and drops straight to the bottom. Than i put about 5 pounds of the old gravel in a bag and have still have it sitting in for a week or so. Finally i added my plants and decorations and following that my fish i take pride in ;;]

Here are some before and after pictures, please comment or give suggestions. Also, i want to double check my aquarium isn't over crowded. Currently have 2 angel fish, 4 cardinal tetra, 5 black neons, 1 rainbow shark, 1 pleco, 1 ballon ram and 2 pictus catfish. If so, what mix of would be the best?? Love them all and would hate to see any of them go but i want to home them right. Thanks for looking.. laterr ;;;;]]]]
