a little info on the tank busting sharks...

Just wanted to share some links, so you can get an idea how big paroons and IDīs can get. I decided to start this thread, incase we are in need of refrenes for new members that might be keeping them.

First off... Compared to a human, in an aquarium:

a cose up of another shark:

a wild caught ID:

a wild paroon:

please, do not aquire these fish. They get too big for home aquariums, and belong in the wild.

Those are humongous fish, they seem really nice and cute looking in a kind of way where a child can snuggle with lol...

Great info and tip!

Great thread Tony. I wish I had known this before we bought one! When we got him he was only a teeny tiny thing...compared to the size they get he musta just hatched. I took very good care of him while we had him but I just did not have the room that he needed to live a happy life. These should not be sold for home aquariums. They are sold stating that they are great for the home aquarium....okee dokee....most people at the most have a 55 gallon (in the typical home not somebody with MTS) and these just will not live happily in that size aquarium.
