for the last 4 days one of my 3 bala sharks mouth is wide open. they are always searching the bottom of the floor for more food but this one is stuck with his mouth open.. i read a post in here abuot maybe trying to press it back so last night i was able to scoop him in the net and pressed against it lightly and nope, didn't go. i know peopel have experienced this but anyone found away to get it back in or to normal? every morning and night i feed he tries but is unsuccessful getting food in his mouth, i even tried to turkey basting it in there but no food goes in.

i couldnt tell you how long..i have never exprimented..but..i know they can go days..alot of people only feed ever other day..i started and i even noticed less water changes.etc...but the reason is obvious..more food=wasted food or more fish waste......the mouth wide open thing sounds familiar i think i have read about it before i will try to dig up some info for you

yeah, i know that someone had posted about this before on here, thats how i found this site : ) but it's still open and i am unsure of what to do, it's so odd, it's been almosta week now like that, so i am guessing he might be getting food somehow.
i have big fatty fish so i feed them 2X's a day and neevr had a problem but i work with fish for a living and when i set a tank up i would usually recommend once a day, unless otherwise but more food=more poop.
