Ive been doing a huge amount of physiological study on the crayfish in general. trying to track down the exact species i have. i think I'm decided on falicambarus macneesei, but i cant find a picture. anyway, most of these animals are burrowers. they burrow during dry seasons and breeding times. some never leave there burrows. some travel between bodies of water within two kilometers. so it leads me to wonder, do they like to be out of water like some crabs and turtles? anybody have any thoughts? I believe it depends on the species you have. Some may some may not. If your unsure you can always setup a tank half land half water.
