I just started out with red cherry shrimp - they're cheap, easy to keep and plentiful plus fun to watch

Welcome to Fish Lore Danionins.com. I think it is a mixed addiction IMO anyway. I have many types of fish, snails, and yes shrimp. I have red cherries, yellows, dark green, pearl blue. I might have a couple of snowballs left but for some reason they do not like me. Oh yeah and the ghost shrimp that are in with the guppies and one lone marble cray.

Hi Crimsonbull57! Yea, I keep them with both actually. They are very peaceful for crayfish. They also don't prey on their own offspring, so you can leave them in the same tank as well.

That's right they are. There's no stopping them from breeding! I plan to use the offspring as feeders for my son & grandson's turtles.
