I had some years ago, they are hardy little predators. Ate all the other things that hatched out with them like
brine shrimp and daphnia. Then the bigger triops ate the smaller triops. And so on lol. They didn't care much for the food that came with the eggs but I bet they'd do well in a tank if fed brine shrimp/bloodworms. I'm not sure about temperature though, kits don't come with heaters so most are kept room temperature but maybe they do well in tropical too. Their exoskeleton isn't too hard, but not sure if they would cause damage to fish who eat them.. I imagine if kept with small fish who wouldn't try swallow them whole they'd be ok. They are entertaining little guys, and the fully grown adults are quite big so I think if they were allowed grow out in a container and then transferred as adults they would do well.
