Shrimp with BN Pleco?

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I wanted to double check with you guys in order be sure.

Are bristlenose Plecos compatible with shrimp? My gut feeling says yes since they are herbavores. I just don't want to find out that they will eat the shrimp the hard way......

Also....is a 10 gallon completely to small for a bn pleco with shrimp and a few male guppies? I know ideally it should be bigger, but that is the size I am working with right now

They should be, but caution is advised

How many guppies are we talking? Ideally, a 15g would be great, but you should be ok with a 10g.

5 guppies. The tank would be slightly overstocked, but I need to take my LFBN out of my 80 gallon in order to let his fins heal from being nipped by my angels. My BN is only about 3 inches now and the guppies are tiny (less than an inch) so I am thinking they should be fine for at least a little while.

I see no problem then.

We keep cherry shrimp with bristlenose with no problems.
A 10 is too small for long term keeping of a full grown bn.
Short term or juvie bn would be ok.
