Looking for a clean up crew.

I have a 29g tank with some giant danios and I would like something in there that won't add much to the bioload and clean up the algea/diatoms. I was wondering if there are any shrimp that would work. I don't think I have to worry about the danios eating the shrimp, none of them are that big yet, the biggest being about 2.5in.

I also have another 29g tank with tiger barbs and a red tail shark. Would I be able to put shrimp in this one?

Ghost shrimp and cherry shrimp are really good cleaners. and they dont add to bioload at all.

Any shrimp of the Caridina species is a good cleaner (Caridina includes Amano shrimp and Cherry shrimp) Give the shrimp something like Java moss to hide in during the time that they're molting, and there won't be much of a problem with the danios bothering them, even if the danios get pretty big.

Our Cherry Shrimp do incredible work on the algae covered decorations and plants that we put in their tank.

Snails do a great job as well as shrimp. Cory catfish also seems to do great job of cleaning the bottoms and they don't make too much of a mess.
