crayfish are hard to keep with other fish, because if they are smaller then the cray fish they will get eaten, and if the fish is bigger then the cray fish, it will eat the cray fish.

they are best kept in a tank to themselves.

Really? I had one in my tank for a bit and only got 2 fish. One because it swam to close. And the other (I think) was too dominant for her and she didn't like it.

Crayfish do need space though. They like stuff to hide in/behind and like to climb plants and rocks. I probably wouldn't put it with a pleco and catfish because that probably is an easy meal.

my pleco's 7 inches, whilst my cray is about 3. She's stay's under her rock most of the time, and there are no fish that will eat her (it is possible she can eat the danios/neons but they're too fast for her). She's really scared of Marian (blue gourami) but Marian thinks of her as a buddy lol.
