Purple Spot Goby biography please!

Hello.

I don't know if this is the right place for where I can post this new thread on Gobies... but anyways, I have 4 purple spotted gobies and they are about 5" and I hear that is the biggest they grow up to. So anyways, I have placed an order on a blue dragon goby, and I was wondering if they will be compatible with the purple spotted ones. Because I heard that the purple spot goby is very aggressive and could kill the blue dragon but I don't know if that is true.

So I kept my purple spotted gobies with a small golden severum, a baby fire mouth cichlid and two plecos (albino, and common) and they are all in a 29 gallon. My common pleco is growing very slowly which I don't mind because it is healthy and my gobies go well with the severum and fire mouth. They have perfect a perfect temper with each other so there wouldn't be any problem except for during feeding time but the aggressiveness isn't any bad thing so they are not fighting. I am hoping that one of my gobies are male or female and the others are the opposite gender.

Anyways I hope someone can give me a biography and compatibility on the purple spot and blue dragon goby, that would be great

Thanks!

PS I hope that this is the right place to put this thread otherwise any moderator can move it

Thanks!!!!!

I don't know much about gobies, but your tank sounds very interesting!

I'm just wondering if maybe all those fish may not have enough room in a 29 gallon? They can all grow quite large.

Anyway sounds like you have a very metal tank!

Gobies I hear only get up to 5" severums and fire mouth cichlids grow bigger. But my severum grows steadily while my fire mouth doesn't grow that fast.

Hello Neji. Here is a link that might help you a bit:
Goby Information:)
It's written by one of our members, Matt.

Too, if you'll go to the top right hand side of this screen and do a "search" for Goby or the type of Goby you're looking for you may find a good bit of information if you haven't already.

Best of luck!
Ken
I have moved your thread to the "freshwater gobies" section of the forum. This may help you to get more responses.
Thanks!
Ken
