My 29 Gallon

I took it apart and re-decorated it. It's not finished yet and I still need some ideas for the front.

Re: My 29 Gallon

i kind of like it as it is, very natural looking.. but maybe some sort of hollow log would fill that front space nicely and stick with your naturalistic theme.

Re: My 29 Gallon

Actually, now I think about it I don't think a hollow log would fit, lol. I took the picture while I was standing up so it looks as if there's a lot of space on the front than it really is.

you'd have to measure to see how much room you have, but petsmart has a stump-like hollow log that is more tall than wide and fun for fish to swim in.. i think at least 1 of the member's tanks here had that in it.. it may fit in that spot better than a long log would.

Re: My 29 Gallon

Looks nice, you look to have the same problem as I have, you need a plant that is more bushy, that's what i would suggest to help fill room in the back. Add some more water too

Re: My 29 Gallon

Why can't you add more water, I have a hang on. It's always a good idea to have a spare filter for that, hope you get a new one soon.

Re: My 29 Gallon

Yeah. I always have a spare filter in all my tanks. Helps keep it clean, gives me peace of mind, and gives me cycled filter media if I start up a new tank).

Re: My 29 Gallon

I got the new filter and its an Aqua-Tech Power Filter. My old one was a in-tank Tetra Whisper Power Filter.

Re: My 29 Gallon

OO good filter, the same as a penguin bio-wheel without the wheel. If you want the wheel you can buy the parts at your lfs. What's the gph?
