Been looking at everyone's great pics so I thought I would join in and post some of my own. Tank mates for my discus are 3 bristlenose catfish, and 15 tetras.

Can't wait to see the pics.... Always refreshing to see other people's tanks and fish.....
Been experiencing some problems with my discus.... some of them eat a lot but never get any bigger... while the others thrive... I have one that is looking pretty bad, colourwise... any suggestions? i do 25% water change every other day... feeding them alternate tetrabits and frozen bloodworms...
How long have you had this discus? I have one the same, it's still settling in, maybe this fish is being bossed by the others.I feed mine bloodworms, discus deluxe, beef heart, shrimp brine.Do you ad blackwater extract to the water

Sometimes I find when u add a new discus to the tank one or two of them will be put out and sulk ,hiding in a corner and generally it will go dark, usually takes a while for it to feel better.still trying to add pics
Do Discus get friendly towards their human? (Once they've settled). Things like swimming to the glass when you're close to the tank, following your finger, eating from your hand, swimming between your fingers? Or do they stay quite shy?
Great photos!!!! and great looking fish.... especially love the high fins but still partial with the classic shape... I found that the new strains are more hardier to diseases and adapt more quickly than most striped discus... the blue diamonds and pigeon bloods in my aquarium seem to thrive better... Just my observation... BTW whereabouts are you from? Melbs? I grew up in good ol' Adelaide...

Mine usually all line up at the front of the tank when they are hungry, and they will follow.
