Do you have a pleco in there, as in common pleco? These need huuuuge tanks (200L and over). I am returning mine today although I'll have a 150L. Sorry to break in the bad news if he is a common pleco, but in the end, he might produce so much waste he'll become unmanageable. Not to mention that he'll be very unhappy because he won't be able to move like he wants.

Lucky you! I didn't know a thing on plecos size and their waste issues when i got mine.....and now i havn't the heart to part with him!!
Well I just did (part with them). I have to say, I'm a little bummed about my yougest one. He was really cool. But am hoping I did him a favor and didn't betray him. I really hope everyone's advice on the 200L was correct, or I'll be well disappointed (it means I could have kept a fish to which I was very attached).
Well they were really making life a misery for my male molly (waste production made water really dirty really quickly). Have changed 50 out of 70 L of water and nitrates still high! Don't even know how my male molly survived this long in this filth. So I guess there is a positive side. I just really hope the fish store will not give them to someone with a small tank, otherwise, what was the point, hey.
