That's a pleco, right? What is its name? Isn't it the "vampire" pleco? (Or not, lol, sorry if I confused it with some other pleco). And yes, it is so beautiful! How large does it grow? I wish I could have a beautiful pleco, but I can't in my 30g. tank. Well, one day when I get that huge thank I dream about! Very beautiful fish Gunnie !!!

That is the scientific number it was given. *Some folks call it a snowball pleco. *Some sources say it gets 10 inches, others say a foot. *If you want a pleco, look into the bristlenoses for your tank. *I particularly like the bristlenose sometimes called medusa. *Dino has some beautiful bristlenoses and breeds them. *I think the l number is 107. *Go to the link below to learn more about my baby, then stay on that site and go to Cat-eLog type in L107 and it should take you right to it. *

When plecos are first imported they are given a number and then an L before that number to indicate family(Loricariidae ). eventually they are given a common name but alot of people continue to use the L and number to positively ID a fish. Kind of like using the scientific name for fish.
