My New Betta!

Hey! Do you guys remember when I made the forum called "What kind of betta is this?", then posted up a picture of a Red Devil Crowntail Betta?
Well...That guy I talked to came through! I am now the very proud owner of a Red Devil Crowntail Betta!

Jack Sparrow! That's right...that is what I named him.

Yeah...he is in a bowl- for now. It's a gallon bowl, I will change water everyday, and clean the gravel out every week. He is only going to be in there for a few weeks until his new tank is cycled.

And here is the tank I set up. It is a 10 gallon, and those are live plants. I completely forgot what those plants were called, but one was a money-...something, and I got a Java Fern.

The driftwood wont stay down, I got the forked piece to stay, but that one piece at the top refuses to stay down.
I plan on getting a few corycats to go with him once the tank is cycled.

I'll get better pics once I move him to the tank.
If you can identify what kind of plants those are, because I can't remember and any suggestions about the driftwood or tank would be just awesome!
Thanks, guys!

The new tank looks great! Friendly advice on the driftwood-check for sharp edges. If it'll snag pantyhose, it'll snag betta fins. I hope this helps.
