| New tank tonight, auction tomorrow! The local FW club is having a big auction tomorrow, and we've gotta be prepared!
We brought in this 46 gallon bowfront we had sitting in the garage and put one of our new Aquaclear 70 filters on it. There's a Rena Smart heater we'll put in there and we're hoping to pick up tons of plants, so we'll be adding 96W PC lighting over this tank. We've got about 60 lbs. total of fluorite, and I'm rinsing the rest of it now.
I'm so excited to see what we'll find tomorrow!
Here are some pics, I'll get more later. |

| I was hoping to make it there this year, but it's always a busy time for me.
Have a great time and take plenty of pictures! |

| Here are some more pics of the tank. I added some plants on driftwood that I'm trying to grow out. I'll be selling those before too long if anyone is interested.
I can't wait for the auction! I've never been to one before and I'm hoping for some rare finds. |

| Love the tank!!!
You'll definitely find some rare finds! They use the scientific names (you're much more familiar with them than I am), but the variety is awesome!
Good luck! Can't wait to see what you come home with! |

| Here are some pics of the tank from tonight after the auction, and also pics of this beautiful dd black angel that I got for a steal! There is also a proven pair of F0 apisto atahualpa, 2 red sumo loaches (schistura sp.), and 4 xenophorus captiva. Plants are red tiger lotus, rotala rotundifolia, h. bolbitis, jungle val, dwarf sag, hygro corymbosa "angustifolia", red rubin sword, crypt wendtii, and narrow leaf java fern. There are also anubias and needle leaf java ferns in the tank that I already had.
We ended up buying a TON of stuff and there were a bunch of really cool fish and plants. Most of the plants went in the 46 bowfront, but we put mosses and java fern in some tanks we set up tonight... we ended up buying more apistos than we'd planned, lol! We picked up 2 F1 Peruvian red spotted angels for the 120, and we even managed to find some blue badis badis! I'll post more pics soon, but here is a start. |

| Way too cool. You both were having fun I bet. Angel will be happy in so nice a tank.
Looking forward to more pix.
Are your sumos the ones with the pinky tails or the more vibrantly multi colored? I've been eyeing the pink tails for a few weeks.

| I'm honestly not sure. I'm not at all familiar with this fish, but we have other schistura loaches so we knew basically what to expect in terms of tank setup, temperament, etc. I'm planning on researching further but am too tired tonight. LOL |
