Hello JR.

Thanks for asking. The angel is about 5" from tip of dorsal to tip of anal fin. I thinks it's about a year old. I have two others, along with many other different types of fish, in the same 55 gal tank that look very simliar, but I guess are a little younger and are about 3 3/4" from tip of dorsal to tip of anal fin. The angels don't seem to get too aggressive with each other. Once in a while I see the two smaller one's possibly fighting. What they do is go after each other's mouths. Kind of like they're tryingt to either kiss each other or bite each others mouth off. I get a little nervouse about it, but I never see any damage done to one or the other. If I did, I probably would do something about it. But they don't do it all the time and they look real good. No torn fins. No damage to scales. It's almost like they're play fighting with each other.

Do you keep angels?

"black lace angels." I like them a lot too. I'm thinking about breeding angels one day. Right now I don't really have the time it would take to do it though. With work all day long, "if" I was successful at getting a pair to breed, I'd be afraid all the fry would starve to death with my not being thome to take care.

I actually bought a few black lace angels when I first started keeping angels, but they didn't make it. I was probably a bit too lax with the water quality. But, lately I've been really into taking good care of the tanks and doing water changes regularly and testing and planting live plants. It's amazing how the quality of life for all the inhabitants improves so much when you add a little TLC.

So, do you have any tetra's?

i used to have angels but they died like last year...
your tank looks great once again lol
but yeah breeding angels requires that you watch them alot and it would be better if you had them alone
