Just some pics

First is a picture of Gymnogeophagus cf. Gymnogenys during a cool down period.

I can't seem to find the paper when I started the cool down period this year I believe it was around the 1st of November.

And here is a picture of the same male after going from about 59* to 74*. He has been in the warmer water for almost 2 weeks now.
His hump is growing and he is on the prowl for a willing female, so far none are impressed.

The second pic here has Gymnogeophagus Australis on the bottom.

This Hypselecara Temporalis always "stands on end" the minute I come around looking for food.

I don't know what the small Gymno peeking through his fins thinks it is missing.....

And finally some pics of Herichthys Bartoni.

Great shots, Brian! I really need to figure out how to set up a "cool down" period so I can have some geo's

Please keep us posted on their spawns.

Thanks BB.

Throw a tank on the floor, throw the heater in the garbage, and keep the "rodents" away.
There ya go.

btw don't cool down Geo's you will kill them........
And Gymno's are cooler anyways lol

It's the gymno's I want. Thanks for clearing that up, Brian. I agree, they are extremely cool. Btw-are they wild-caught or tank bred? I'm just asking because they have awesome coloring.

I don't know why I'm thinking gymno's, but typing geo's. That makes a HUGE difference and I'd hate to accidentally steer someone on the wrong direction and have them cool down Geo's.

All my Gymno's are F1 from The aFISHionados, from Spencer's wilds he brought back from Uruguay.
