First is a picture of Gymnogeophagus cf. Gymnogenys during a cool down period.
I can't seem to find the paper when I started the cool down period this year I believe it was around the 1st of November.
And here is a picture of the same male after going from about 59* to 74*. He has been in the warmer water for almost 2 weeks now.
His hump is growing and he is on the prowl for a willing female, so far none are impressed.

This Hypselecara Temporalis always "stands on end" the minute I come around looking for food.

I don't know what the small Gymno peeking through his fins thinks it is missing.....
