Cat Tank... err, Catfish.

Here's a shot of my cory/betta tank. My cat Chicken really enjoys it.

Cute shot! I noticed you have a betta in there. How do the cats get along with him and how long have you had a set up like that? Thought that bettas were best housed separately...

I used to have my corys in the same tank as my Betta. We never had any problems at all, but I must admit the betta seems much happier now he's on his own. Never had a bubble-nest before, now we are never without one The corys...well, they're just happy little dudes, they'll get along with anyone.

What a beautiful betta! Does he flare at the cat? LOL

My cat loves watchingg my fish tank as much as I do. He'd stare at it and try to follow my zebra danios with his eyes. It's so funny to watch his head move whilst trying to keep those Mach-5 swimmers in sight.

He does pretty well with the cory's. He pretty much rules the skies while the cory's run things on the ground. He keeps a bubble nest on the left side of the tank. He pretty much just ignores the cory's unless he wants to steal blood worms from them. He'll dive right down into the middle of their feeding frenzy and snatch bloodworms from them.

Also he doesn't really pay attention to the cat. He flares at my finger tips though if I put them up to the tank. Otherwise he just chills. I have a cabomba plant in there and he pulled part of it out so it floats and he sleeps in it every night. I don't have the heart to replant his bed.
