Hi roger Your tank looks larger than 40US Gallons anyway, if it is 40 Uk Gallons then it is 48 Us Gallons which means you can have more fish than you thought

Is that marine live rock in your tank?

33rogerjames, since every one is convinced that your tank is bigger(and it probably is unless its a 40 long or something)... can you get the dimensions of the tank for us?(height,length, width) then we(or you) can calc. http://www.fishlore.com/ConversionCalculator.htm thats the link.

Wow! That means what you though was a 48 gal is actually a 62 gal!!! Thats a lot more fish! By the way: I think your tank would look even MORE beautiful if you added a deep blue background. You can just get some construction/poster paper and tape it to the back for a quick and easy background It will hide all the cords and make your fish (powder blue gouramis?) really pop. It will also accent your decor. The tank is beautiful by the way!
