Dexter 1 Week Later

Just thought you would like to see the difference in Dexter from the day I brought him home and one week later. First pic is Day 1 and second pic is Day 8.

Also, here is a short 1 min vid of him swimming around like a bullet:

Thank you. And yes, I am very glad! Would you believe my mother thought he was ugly when she first saw him? Now, she's in love with him.

Forgot to mention this: I moved him from a tank of fake plants to a planted tank and am thinking that may be part of the reason he made such a wonderful transformation.

He is absolutely gorgeous! I love those colors. Reminds me of precious metals. I love seeing a beautiful betta swim around a big tank. That's how it should be.

Hello JaneAA. Dexter is 1 beautiful boy! Thanks for sharing his photos and video with us!
I hope you have many years of enjoyment with him. Since you moved him from one tank to another, does this mean you have room for another Betta?

I have an empty 5g tank, but I am unsure if I should get another betta or use it as a QT/Sick tank. Both have many merits...
