3 weeks ago we started with a 14g tank and while browsing the local classifieds online I saw a deal I could not pass up. I was able to pick up this 29gal tank with everything for $50. Internal Fluval Filter with extra filter pads, heater, gravel, plants, large rock, Whisper pump, lid, light, etc. The only thing I bought are the small plants and put in the glass flower. I put a large marble in the glass flower so my fish can not swim down in it.



I had to clean it out and the gravel was pretty nasty but no major hard water deposits inside the tank. You can save quit a bit of money buying used!

I started it up TSS and 3 Congo Tetras and 3 Tiger Barbs

I love it! And the marble was a great idea. I'm going to steal your idea for using that grass stuff - I love how you added it to the rock/wood. Very natural aquascaping.

When I asked him to make me a flower he put a 3 inch wide stand on the bottom so it would stand straight up. It is under all the gravel so it looks like flower just grew up.

Hello Richard. Wonderful job. Beautiful tank! I really like the flower as well. I'm glad you used a marble instead of silicone simply because it could be messy.
