My weekend project

Trying to make room for the 125 on it's way so I built this to hold some tanks so I can set up the 125 when I get it.I have the 55g community tank the 20g divided betta Tank the 20g Cory and Serpae tetra tank and the 20g long Dragon Bichir and Danio tank on it. The dragon will inherit the Oscars 55g when they move into the 125g. Anyway just figured I'd share the pic. Sorry about the photo quality my daughter has "misplaced " our good camera

Good looking project done. It's great to have all your tanks on once shelf. Saves a lot of space.

LOL @ Tony, hardwork to save space for your room Better get to work!

And another plus of having these all together is I have 1 powerstrip dedicated to the lights all on 1 timer, so no more trying to get them all set at the same times

I would like to but this just kinda came together one day. I was trying to make room for a 125g on the way and had a bunch of 2/4s laying around from a garage project so I took a few measurements and started laying it out.The 2/4s are all doubled up to make sure it would hold.I guess in hindsight I should of taken pics during the build but once I started I just kept going. My wife read this and she called me a typical man ,no directions or plans just wing it, anyway Sorry I can't gve the DIY directions I am not great at putting these ideas down on paper.

No problem. So you used a paint primer and black paint?

actually it's just black spray paint, I wanted the kinda worn look rather than nice shiny new black. The1 coat of spray paint lets the wood grain show through nicely and i just puttied over the screw holes to cover them up.
