| My Tanks, well a couple of them anyway. I'm not much of a photo taker but I dredged these ones up out of my PC. When I get around to it I will take some of all my tanks & post them to. |

| Very nice! In the second pic, what size tank is it and what are the blue fish?
Noticed you're aquarium info isn't filled out, it would be nice to glance at it when looking at your pics. |

| I order left to right - Juvenile Firemouth, Geophagus Steindachneri Male, Tropheus Ikola 2 x Placidochromis Electra & Julidochromis Dickfeldi, Pictus, Peppermint Bristlenose.
1st & last tank pics are 4x1.5x1.5ft the middle 3 tanks are all 6x2x2ft.
I've got way too many tanks to fit into the profile. I wouldn't know which ones to put in there!! I have 20 tanks with another 6x2x2ft getting set up now, nearly ready to start cycling. That doesn't include live food, quarintine & fry raising tanks. My double garage at home is full of tanks to the point where I had to build a new shed to put my tools in!!
I have about 300 fish all up. Not including fry & guppies I raise for live food. Last edited by Nutter; October 18th, 2009 at 10:16 AM.

| 300 fish?? How do you find the time in a day to manage all your tanks? You probably have a list of all your tanks and the tasks right? haha Great job! You could be my aquarist idol! Quote:

| The tank in teh second pic contains 2 x Blue Peacock, 3 x Yellow Peacock, 6 x Maingano, 3 x Electra, 2 x Lemon/Leleupi, 4 x Dickfeldi, 2 x Brichardi, 6 x Tropheus Ikola & 2 x Eyebiters. There's also a Green Terror in there that the g/f dropped in one day while I was at work & I could never catch. The cunning bugger always dissapears into the rock piles at the sight of a net. That lot of fish have no business sharing th esame tank but surprisingly they all get along ok except for the Tropheus & the Mainganos which like to squabble with each other at times. I'm waiting for the day the Eyebiters get hungry & eat the Dickfeldi but I feed lots of live food so they just ignore the little guys. At least for now. |

| This is my way of unwinding. After busting by behind all day at work I enjoy coming home & working with the fish. They don't want thier cars fixed.
Yes I have a list just near each tank of what gets done on what day & even the time that it is supposed to be done. I do about an hour each night, spend Saturday & Sunday afternoons on them as well. |

| From left to right - One half of a breeding pair of Sajica. Fantail & Red-capped Oranda share with the two axelotl in the next pic. Juvenile Green Terror aprox 4inches. Juvenile Firemouth (5 in that tank) & a Goldspot Plec.
That's going to have to do for you all for now. I'll post some more of other fish & tanks when I get around to taking some decent photos. |

| Great looking tanks Nutter. You can tell you spend alot of time with them. The plants looks very healthy!
I do have one gripe though. Garage space for fish tanks? You must have 2 garages...lol |

| Only one of those has just live plants, the others are either a mix of live & fake or just fakes for the africans & the geos. The 6x2x2ft I'm building now has just a few fakes in it at the moment but will end up with no fakes & just live plants & will have either Geophagus Topajo or Festivums along with about 12 Congo Tetras & 1 Blue-eyed Plec - Panaque Suttoni. Soon after that I will be doing another 4x1.5x1.5ft heavily planted general community.
Nate - I have 3 garages on two properties & then the drag/performance shop as well. |
