Well, I know it hasnt been long since I posted pics of my 20g. I decided to give my fish some more leg room and got a really really good deal on a used 38g (36" x 12" and 20" deep).

some species of rotala

Lighting
I got the Hagen Glo Hi output T5 lighting setup. It has two 39 watt high output "life-glo" hagen bulbs. Does the lighting always end up costing much more than the tank?

thanks guys, now I need to hide my wallet for a while!

I am running it without a canopy right now, because thats the only way I could figure out how to mount the light. The clamps on the side could not go on with a hood on it, and I dont have anything to hang it from. The only fish im worried about jumping out is the panchax, but so far so good.
