what a great looking fish and yes your filters are fine..BUT, in a 55 gal tank with all those fish, I am once again going to say not enough room to grow them out for their potential...2 parrots, an oscar, tiger barbs and now 3 flowerhorns are just way too much for the tank no matter how many different threads you make, its still going to be the same result...

The FH killed the Oscar. I have updated pics of the biggest FH I have which is the one posted on top.

It will kill the other Flowerhorns next. 55 Gals isn't big enough for those fish I'm afraid.

FH cannot be housed with any other fish IMO..just too aggressive!

it will definitely start killing others soon....try giving it a home to itself.

Add seperators or buy another tank, my dad breed's flower horn and you just can't put them together. There's exeption but most of the time, What saqib said is right, we have a common pleco that is twice the size of one flower horn and he almost killed it.

I seperated the FH. He started nipping the other FH. Right now he's w/ a golden pleco and a parrot 3 times his size. They all get a long. The other FH's are in the bigger section of the tank and all the fish are getting a long.

That's good news, but I'm afraid this isn't a good long-term solution for your aggression problem. FH's are aggressive fish regardless, but this is exacerbated by being in a tank that is too small and crowded. As your FH's grow, they are probably going to kill your parrots eventually. They grow faster than the parrots and will catch up in size, and FH's have a lot more attitude. Removing the parrots would help for now, but then your FH's will just kill each other eventually. As adult fish, you'll really have problems; I can't imagine 3 adult FH's tolerating each other even in a tank 3-4 times the size of yours. Once they hit sexual maturity, it's going to be WWIII in there.

I had some FH thats was around 10 Inch. FH is a fish taht should be keep alone, except from if you want to breed it. So you might think about returning fish or buy another tank.
