Rainbows!

Look what I did today! These dwarf neon rainbowfish (hopefully) are in my 29 gallon with 2 MM platys, 1 bolivian ram, and 4 false julii corys. I got 5 of them, but the pics with all 5 came out really blurry.

very nice! I love the rainbows.. they are really great fish, and you have a nice sized rainbow for your tank. Speaking of 'bows, yesterday I was at Petsmart for some supplies and noticed that they are now carrying the Boesmani and the turquoise blue rainbows. Which is pretty cool considering all they ever seem to have is just the rainbow splendens. I was tempted, but at 12.99 for the boes, I just couldnt do it right now. But they did look good!

I had thought about the Bosamis, but I'm so scared because now I'm hearing they need a 75 gallon tank.

yep.. they do get pretty large. My A. rainbow splendens are about 5-6 inches long, Ive had them for almost two years and boy do they swim all over the place.. very fast! haha... So yes, they do need a lot of swimming area.
Your smaller rainbows are very beautiful fish tho.. and I bet they all look terrific when they are schooling together.

They really do look great schooling. I can't believe the color in them. I just got them today, so hopefully they're happy in their new home.

Thank you!
