Julian loves that bushy plant in the corner, it is half silk, and half live plant.
Also,you can't see it in the photo, but behind the plant on the left there is a hollowed out coconut cave.

That is a very good idea. I had never thought of using a real plant and silk together. I can see why he would love it, it is beautiful. I can see him swimming about happily in there. VERY NICE tank.

I really enjoy seeing planted tanks. It gives the fish places to hide and feel safe. Your betta must be very happy to have such a nice tank for a home.

well the real plants leaves were all at the top level of the tank, and I couldn't stand how all those scrawny stems looked so combining it with the silk just seemed like the perfect solution.
