My Banana plant just shot out its first lily leaf. I have had this plant now for 4 months now and lately it has blossomed quite beautifully.

Hi Carlos..
The plants look fantastic! How are they in low light of about 1.5w per gal?

I use a t5 energy saver light with very high lumins 6700 k. I dose florish, florish iron and exel, root tabs and I just today hooked up red sea co2 the one that is simular to the dyi sugar yeast set up.

Ahhh... so you use a CO2 as well, and using florish too. No wonder your plants are doing great. I read from some other folks that the florish was not good with their fish, have you had any problems with your fish since using Florish?

Flourish is a plant supplement line made by Seachem. When you say flourish do you mean flourish excel? Some people have reported issues with excel, some plants seem to be sensitive to it. I have not had any problems yet been using there products for eight months now. Here is a link to seachems web site so you can research it. http://www.seachem.com/Products/Planted.html In my opinion they have the best customer service too. You can call them with any questions that you may have.
As for the co2 I just added that today. Its is not a sophisticated co2 system like the pressurized ones out there. In fact I am just testing this out my self here is a link to the set up I have. http://www.redseafish.com/Prod229.asp
It makes co2 from a mixture of yeast and sugar like the dyi systems out there. Hope this helps.
