A friend was moving and didn't want to move his tanks, so of course I volunteered to take them off his hands,so I ended up with a 20 gallon tall and a 55 gallon. Here are some pics of the 20. After the red DG had to try a Blue one and he is just as pretty. I was only able to get this one cycled quickly with some substate and filter media the 55 will take a while ,but I will get pics up as soon as it is ready.I'm thinking african Cichlids for that, any suggestions for what kind would be great. here is the 55 so far also.

I have always had badluck with my DGs...somehow over a couple of months they just start loosing thier color eventually dying out...

I have always wondered what goes wrong...my readings are all perfect with amm 0, nitrites 0 and nitrates 10, pH 7.8...its just that i loose the DGs over a period of roughly 3~4 months....always!

All other fish keep on moving ON!

the other inhabitants have always been 2 angels and 4 danios in a 55 gallon...so not a problem there...

ive just given up on them
