Guess at the tank size?

I'm picking up this tank from someone off freecycle.
They said that it's between 75 - 100 gal. but they're not sure.
Anyone have a guess?

That's what I was thinking too. Either a 75 or 90.

Yep I think it's a 75g although mine looks a bit longer than that(unless it's a 100g high) 55g are the same length as the 75g but the 75g is deeper from front to back.

That's what's throwing me off too! It looks short, that's why I guessed 90. My Petsmart sells 90's that are more of a square shape, they look similar to this tank.

why dont you look at pics of what retailers sell (on line) and compare what you're getting to it?

Depending on the size, maybe another Oscar? or some other cichlids that he can rule over?

Looks like a 75gal to me:

One Oscar.
Two Convicts (consider Pink Convicts).
Six Silver Dollars.

You will need a minimum of 10 times tank volume (750GPH HOB filtration; suggestion: go with two AquaClear 110), or six times tank volume (450GPH) Canister or Wet/Dry due to the massive and messy bio-load of the Oscar.

love the tank ...did you get it? its looking like a 75 gal tall to me...the only thing with that footprint and an oscar, not sure if its wide enough because at adult hood, turning around might get hard for him...they do better in wide tanks more than tall slender ones...especially at 12 to 14 inches ...if you got it, definately get the measurements

I haven't gotten it yet, the persons work schedule is a bit crazy. I'm not sure when I'm picking it up, but the person has it promised to me.
