Phew! at last... (55 set up)

Ok, here is the one picture I have of my 55, which just received its first inhabitants (4 fancy male guppies) today. I also got an opaline gourami... but my boyfriend stole it for his tank.

I know the plastic plants look cheesy... I am going to save for a real light so that I can plant the tank like I had originally planned. BTW, did I say that the driftwood was free!

Filter 1: 50
Filter 2: 30
Heater : 30
Tank : 25

Grand total: 135 bucks!
(Everything else was free! )

As soon as I get paid... (Tomorrow! ) I will go for more fishies!

Yup! I asked about the HUGE pieces of driftwood that were in the cichlid tank. After they were taken out, they told me I could take them.

It still needs a lot of work, background, plants... but other than that it is pretty much rrrready!

I love gups, there are 4 in there.

On sat, I will be going for either a school of ghost cats or hatchets and a centerpiece (paradise gourami/angel)

I will also get some cory cats for the bottom and an RTS.

I can't believe you got such a good deal! The tank looks great I love fancy guppies. My LFS has a planted tank full of them and I love to look at it whenever I go in there. I would go with ghost cats, an angel, and cories. That would be a rad tank!

How about a school of kuhli loaches since you have a sandy bottom? I have heard that they are fun to watch!
