Beautiful tank Shawnie! I love the pics! How do your angels get along with your JD's? I have always wanted a JD, but I don't have a place for one right now I think its great that your daughter is getting involved. Me and my mom share a couple hobbies and its really special to spend the time together

ty kate!! actually my dempseys get along with everyone ...except the convicts when they breed...then its a war between the 4 of them...but , my dempseys grew up with my big oscars....so they are totally submissive fish until the breeding frenzy...

That is awesome I always thought of Dempseys as being so mean, but I guess the Oscars would put them in their place, lol. Do you still have your Oscars? I haven't seen pics in a while.

awww thats right you havent been around.....I actually gave them away a few months ago after a bad ice storm and I freaked as I almost lost them...you can read this thread about them

Awww, I'm sorry Shawnie. That must have been so hard. At least they have a huge tank to live in now. 450 gallons, thats almost their very own lake You did the right thing.

thanks Kate..it was very tough as they had just started laying eggs after having them 8 years...so I knew finally they were an established pair....amazing fish for sure...everyone that is able to(space wise), should have an oscar...
