Lucky!! I wish I could have an Oscar tank. Nick Goody has Jewels in with his Oscars. Jack Denpseys, Severums, and other large SA cichlids can go with Oscars.

i had all sorts ofr fish in with my oscar and he never bothered them. The only thing i had to do was move my oscar to another tank for a few days so he would forget his territory and then he would be fine with any other fish put in there. The ones i had were chocolate cichlid, green terror, a pleco, and a goldfish. he got along fine with all of them

wow a 125 gal!!! So amazing!

I think any SA cichlid will be fine... I would get a severum. maybe some firemouths.

AWESOME TANK~!!!
alot of great suggestions.. some others that will work is silver dollars, convicts, pictus catfish....also, that driftwood and rock on the left hand side, may need to come out as oscars are very very active and actually do summersaults, swim side to side, and just flounder around in the tank as they grow..they would actually do all kinds of flips in the bubble want... .they can cut themselves or get injured with anything sticking up or out because they are so active ....so keep a good eye out for that I would NOT put goldfish in with them as they will become a meal very fast

I keep jewels with my Oscar that get on fine with him. He's about 10 times their size as well! I also have some Convicts that will be going in once they're big enough. The only other fish I had problems with was another Oscar! I bought them together as babys but once they reached 6 inches the dominent one started beating the smaller one up really badly, so I gave him away to a friend who has a 90gal. How many Oscars are you going to keep?
