| Version 3 Rescape Went down to the creek and dug through the snow trying to find some rocks for the tank. The water is still a little cloudy. |

| Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the DF's will get aggresive when older. |

I've kept them with both peaceful slow swimmers and also with aggressive cichlids. There are bigger frogs you can buy but if your thinking about and African dwarf they are good in a community setup. Bigger cichlids will eat them though. My little guy is okay for now but if he doesn't die of old age by the time the cichlids get big enough to eat him I'll move him into my peaceful tank. |

| I'm glad you like the photo's, I'll post the pics of our 70 gallon once we get it setup. Were thinking heavy rocks and some sturdy plants that can survive cichlids like java fern and amazon swords. I've been looking all over town for shale and slate but I'm not having any luck. It's a small town so I might have to wait until the spring. Any ideas for a Malawi tank? |

| Beautiful tank! Since you used river rock, how did you clean them so they didn't contaminate your tank?
Your plants all look so green & healthy. Do you use co2? If not, what do you use? |

| Huh. I thought I heard SirDarkSol say once that after the African Dwarf Frog reached full length, he would attack the other fish. Oh well... |
