Pics of my new 107 gallon

Hey fishlorians!

I am so excited to show evreyone my new 107 gallon!

It has a rainbow, 4 cardinals (more to come) and 3 dwarf gouramis.

I hope you like it, could you also give me tips if you think I could do something better in the way of aquascaping?

I plan to get way more fish to stock the tank (plenty of room to play with) could you give me ideas in the way of stocking too please

Hope you like!!!

Nice tank! What kind of Rainbow? I would suggest more of those since they prefer being in groups.

What does the 107 in your title refer to

If you mean Rainbow as in Rainbow Shark, one per tank is the way to go. If you mean Rainbow as in Rainbowfish, then consider a school. The latter are peaceful community fish so would not bother your Gourami at all.

Nice Aquascaping! I really like your tank. Well done!

Wow! You are lucky! You should get a pleco. They clean up algae for you! They also come in many colors.

It's an Australian rainbowfish from the Murray River.
It's 107 gallons.

I've had that fish for about 2 years and he seems to be very happy by himself. I have not been able to find any other fish like him other than the common rainbowfish you find (the really colourful ones).

It looks exactly like the plainer, smaller fish in the photo attached.
Will it school with other species of rainbowfish?

Thanks!!

The plainer smaller fish is probably a female
The reason I asked about the 107 in your title is because in the original post you said " I am so excited to show evreyone my new 120 gallon!" I was confused as to whether we were talking about 107 g or 120 g LOL

Your rainbow will probably school with a different breed of rainbow that is about the same size. Since you said you couldn't find any more of that particular breed that's probably the way you'd want to go.

Now, stocking! Pearl and moonlight gouramis are both gorgeous and are very peaceful. Male pearls get a beautiful orange chest, especially when kept with a couple females. I personally love swordtails as well, but you'll want to keep the same sex unless you want a massive onset of fry. You could do just about any type of bottom dweller you want...cories, loaches, plecos, otos, or a combination thereof. The sky is the limit, especially with the smaller, peaceful fish you're going with. Congrats and keep us posted on your new additions!

lol thanks!

I have new additions since last post - 2 balloon mollies! they are really cute and I am planning on breeding them.

About the stocking - I am going to get a few angelfish later on, I have always loved them since I was a kid!

I'll post more pics of the tank and some of the balloon mollies soon!

update! more pics

Okay here are some more recents pics, taken with a better camera!

Sadly, one of the balloon mollies died. I left a net on a glass panel that holds the tank together and the stupid fish jumped right ino it and killed it self! But if I hadn't left the net there it prolly would have slid right back into the water..

But oh yeah, I also have so new little angels to show!

I looks absolutley fabulous, I am so jealous. What I think would be really cool is tons of cories, like a huge school. 10+. I personally prefer three line cories, they have such a cool pattern, and when theres a ton of them schooling together, it is a wonderful sight. Heres a pic of the three lines-

Stunning Tank Setup ..

A stunning tank. I got several good ideas from your setup that have been thinking of trying. What kind of filters do you use? How do you keep it so immaculate?
