Last week I moved Bashful along with some cories into my 10 gallon tank that had previously held my killifish and some shrimp (the shrimp are still in the tank). Here are some pics of the new setup. Everyone seems very happy. Bashful is so funny....I don't even think he knows he's a betta. He loves resting on the sand cuddled up with the cories I have two young guppies in the tank that are recovering from fin damage from the killifish and Bashful completely ignores him. I named him well....I have never seen a more mild mannered betta! He wouldn't come to the front of the tank for any pics, but he seems to love his reflection though, so I snapped a couple shots of him being vain and admiring himself, lol.

I really like the tank! Looks a lot more natural then other betta tanks I've seen.

PS What Plants are in there? I can see some Java ferns...

Thanks Shawnie I love that he is pink. He may not look like it in his pics, but he is sooooo shy. He is my only betta boy that doesn't greet me at the front of the tank. Infact, he hides while I put the food in and then sneaks out to eat it when he thinks I am not watching.

Thanks! I am really glad that you think it looks natural because that is definetly what I was going for I have LOTS of Java Fern in there with some floating water sprite. Nothing fancy cause I just have a standard light fixture on that tank.

Thats a lovely tank!!! I'm glad hes getting along great with the other fish also!!! In the past every time I've had a peaceful fish tank I've added one betta and it was always so happy in there!!! I don't have a peaceful fish tank right now only aggressive fish and semi-aggressive fish tanks and a pond so I have my bettas in a divided 10 gallon. Anyhow I love the tank and think its so pretty!!! It makes you want to shrink down and going swimming and exploring in there lol!!!

Thanks so much I totally know what you mean! I wish I could shrink down and swim in all my tanks....maybe not my African Tank though....that might be scary lol.
