I recently got a 55 gallon tank, and was not sure what I was going to stock it with. I saw flowerhorn cichlids at our LFS and was drawn to them due to their beautiful colors and charismatic personalities. I adopted "Teddy" and I am really enjoying him. We named him "Teddy Bear" as a joke because he is so incredibly fiesty! He is like a giant betta......he is definetly meant to be the only fish in the tank due to his aggressive personality, and he has beautiful coloring. He is a hybrid fish, and I know that there are many people who are completely opposed to the idea of hybrids. However, I am not breeding him, and I am not planning on releasing him into the wild, sooooo I think I'm being responsible about it Enjoy the pics

BTW, the way that the gravel is arranged in little hills in the picture of the tank is completely Teddy's doing He loves to dig and rearrange the gravel in his tank all day long. Its so funny to watch him scoop it into his mouth and then spit it across the tank!

Nice pix, but I am not a fan of the Flower Horn at all. I am not a pink person so I think that's what I don't like about their looks. Congrats on your MTS, yet another cichlid to add to your list.
