My 150g

This is my first post here so I figured Id post up my 150g I just got set up. Right now its got a decent size tinfoil barb, two tiger barbs, two red barbs, a clown loach, two plecos, a chocolate pleco, three ID sharks (I know I know) and two bala sharks. I also have it semi planted. I know the ID's will get huge but they will be fine for a while in this tank.

That tank doesn't look like a 150g. Look like it's the same as my 55g. What are your tanks dimensions?
Here's my 55g

LOL...I assure you it is most definitely a 150g. Dimensions are roughly 72x18x27. Here's a pic of a deck of playing cards for scale, and also a pic of my 55g.

Here are some more pics...sorry I cant adjust the shutter speed on my camera for some reason so if the fish are moving they are blurred unless I use the flash, which of course takes all the warmth out of the pictures.

No need to LOL or be snotty (read rules)
Our 120g is 6ft long so I figured a 150g would look bigger. Our friends 180g is 6ft so.

Yeah, that was pretty much all I was doing

I guess some people on this forum lack a sense of humor?

Hi Allie
I dont think that he was being snotty... I believe that you questioned his information on his own tank that I am sure he knows what he has. He was 'assuring' you that it was indeed a 150g tank.
Nothing snotty about it IMO but I would question your own post. Why assume he didnt know what he was talking about? I think he answered your post very well under the circumstances. The LOL.. well, he probably thought it was kind of funny that you were doubting his statement on the size of his own tank...
Put yourself in this situation and how would you feel if you posted your photo of your 120 and someone said.. that doesnt look like a 120 what is the dimensions? I believe you would most likely tell them that you know exactly what size tank you have!
Lets try to be a little more patient with folks ok, you dont have to throw the 'read the rules' around when someone may contridict what you say.

Welcome to fishlore, Fishkiller...
Your tank is gorgeous. BTW, you cantry moving your setting on the camera to 'sport' or action... this way it will stop action and help with the blurry photos of fish swimming by so fast.

Hey FishKiller, I'm new too lol. Love your tank and your fish are beautiful.

Thanks for the tip on camera settings Kate, my catfish darts around so fast the pic's are always blurry.

I didn't assume he didn't know what he was talking about.
I genuinely thought the tank looked the same as my 55g. Since I have seen tanks bigger than a 150g, it looked the same as 55g to me. Well from my experience most people around here who aren't being snotty would have worded his response differently. But anyways...
