They aren't here either. I think it has to do with the fact that the average fish keeper doesn't have a large enough tank.

that makes sense, but still, alot of people get a oscar for a 20 gallon tank so i guess you can say the more knoledgable people. , but only one lfs carries them around here, and they are a neat looking fish , there shape is even cool i think. and i shouldlnt be saying this since i have mine in a 55 gallon tank, but a 55 gallon is actully kinda small once you put in in some of the larger Central and south american cichlids, i think he will be fine in there on his own but who knows maybe i will have him at the time i do set up a 125 years down the road, i guess theres hope, have yours been showing any sign of pairing yet, i read there kinda picky about partners, or are they even at that age yet?
